  • The initial consultation is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better. We will discuss your concerns, goals, and treatment preferences. Additionally, I will gather relevant background information to better understand your unique needs. This session typically lasts around 60 minutes and helps us determine the most appropriate treatment approach moving forward.

  • Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes in duration.

  • Being an out-of-network provider means that I do not have a direct contract with insurance companies. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may partially reimburse you for therapy expenses. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to inquire about your specific out-of-network mental health coverage.

  • Upon request, I can provide you with a detailed invoice (superbill) that includes the necessary information for potential insurance reimbursement. You can submit this invoice to your insurance company for consideration. Please note that the reimbursement amount and policies vary among insurance providers, and it is your responsibility to understand the specifics of your coverage.

  • The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs, goals, and progress. Some individuals may benefit from short-term therapy, while others may require more extended support. Together, we will regularly assess your progress and determine the most appropriate treatment timeline. Typically I work with clients between 6 and 12 months.

  • At the core of my therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a research-backed modality that promotes psychological flexibility and empowers individuals to live in alignment with their values. I believe that true healing comes from accepting our present circumstances, acknowledging the challenges, and making conscious choices to move forward.
